Street Photography: The Top 10!

This first photo I took makes it into my top ten because of the composition. Personally, i would crop more of the right hand side out- just to get rid of the coat- however I do think that the picture without the cropping is still good. The fact he is in the middle and the camera becomes part of the main focus really makes the picture stand out to whoever is viewing it.

The second picture makes it into the top ten because I think it is one of the best photos I've personally taken. This is because the composition is brilliant. Everything is centred in the right place at the time. This shot is actually from a continuous shoot I did- I chose this picture as the best one out of the bunch. I think with the added blurred background it completely makes the picture a stand out one against the rest.

The next picture is basically the same as the first one however the stance has changed. The person in the background does make this picture a little off- but he has been blurred out due to the lens i was using and so as a result makes the picture a little batter than it could've/ would've been. I like this picture because you can see what is happening completely.

This picture is a little different to the rest of the top ten. It shows just the persons hands- instead of most of the body or there face. It gives off more mystery- something that can really appreciated in photography. The picture also really resonates with the rule of thirds- making the picture pleasing to look at.

This picture shows a frame within a frame- the lines from the stairs open up to the main subject. What i like so much about this photo is the eyes. Its the only body part that gives some sort of emotion to the picture as a whole. It leaves mystery of why the emotion is that certain emotion. The frame within a frame massively makes this picture for me though.

This picture is a standard of a picture of someone taking a picture. Its simple but the composition and the blurred background really make the picture for me. It also is a crisp shot of what this project is all about- taking pictures of people doing something, whether they know you are taking a photo of them or not.

This picture, the subject doesn't know that this photo is being taken. I really like this photo because of it. It really shows true emotion something which you might not to be able to see in any of my other pictures. I really like is however, some cropping could be done on the right side to make him centred.

This is another unknown picture. I think its a really good compositional picture however, the blurred hands and camera at the bottom ruin it. This is mostly due to just a continuous shot and this was the best picture i could pick out. Though, i could crop the blurred section out and it will still hold everything it already holds.

This is the final picture in my top ten. I really like this picture because it's another one that shows a person true emotion. Obviously something in the picture has made the subject happy. Moreover, the composition of the white background and the subject along a composition line really makes this picture ascetically pleasing for a viewer.
