Save The Streets

During my second year of university, I became the Social Media Secretary for homeless society Save The Streets... Formally known as big change, we had a brand overhaul and fundraised throughout the year. 

 

The Results

Over my year as Social Media Secretary, I was able to grow the society's Instagram...

  • 422% increase in the number of accounts reached. 

  • 2,467% increase in content interactions.

  • 40% increase in followers. 

This included more frequent posting, and the introduction of Instagram Stories which had not be utilised in previous years. Due to this, we were able to raise over £1500 pounds for A Bed Every Night in two fundraising socials. What was most important was to be able to connect with people online, as COVID prevented many planned fundraising socials.
